Lawrence is an electrical engineer with a Master degree of Engineering.
He has over 20 years experience in energy management, distribution automation, non-utility generation, load analysis and forecasting, electricity procurement and management services, commodity price risk management, utility bill analysis, electricity supply and regulatory affairs.
With a proven record of success in project management, process re-engineering, training, planning and management, Lawrence has the ability to deliver projects meeting the scope, on time and within budget.
Lawrence is the Managing Director of Stratadyne Group Inc.
He was a former vice chair of IEEE, Toronto, and a former Instructor of the Engineering Continuing Education of the University of Toronto and has served on industrial committees such as the OEB Retail Market Readiness Task Force, IMO Operation Technical Advisory Team and the Wholesale Market Technical Team of the Market Design Committee.
He currently is a member of the IESO electricity pricing task force and was recently accepted by the IESO to participate in the Demand Response Reliability Working Group.
